We all have to deal with demanding, exhausting or overwhelming situations on a daily basis and thus we spend a lot of energy on various receptors other than ourselves. Making time for yourself should be a priority instead of a luxury. Spending time doing things you love should have a frequent position on your schedule along with some quality alone time in an environment which will allow you to disburden yourself of the excessive tension, tiredness, stress, negativity, toxicity and any other unpleasant factor. That will be your own shelter to recharge your energy bar, motivation level and come in contact with your inner self, dreams and emotions.
