When people leave

Goodmorning people !

Here i am for one more post to share my opinion with you as promised on my previous articles .What i'm going to write about today , is the situation taking place when people leave from our lives .I think many of us have been in a bad life period at least once due to somebody's absence so i guess this article appeals to a large group of people out there .


I am a kind of person who has experienced the word "absence" in many different ways such as deaths , breakups , friendship endings , family related issues etc , not only as a part of this situation ( when the absence affects me directly ) but also as a "third person" out there who is trying to support the loved ones when they are involved in such situations.  


From this comparison i can state one thing for sure : '' Nothing is exactly as it seems '' . And this small sentence has a really deep meaning .


Let me explain :

An absence , no matter what type of it , is a really hard part to get over it especially when it is related to someone who has been important for you . But it's not impossible .
Nothing is exactly as it seems . Some people have the ability to move on faster than other people do either because it's a feature of their character or because they just choose to do it even though it is seems too hard to handle .



Nothing is exactly as it seems . At first it may look impossible / too hard to even give it a try . But it's not . 
Most people , when they experience an absence or simply when someone leaves from their lives , know it's gonna be hard but they are completely negative in the beginning . They think the pain will last forever and they just sit down thinking of the absence .

Guess what : IT WON'T . It won't last forever .

I noticed that on myself too , in hard days i was thinking " i will always live with these thoughts in my mind , i will never manage to forget since my emotional effort on this person was too heavy to just erase everything , i will always be tortured by nostalgic memories etc "

One word : NEGATIVITY . It happens when you are not willing to try . Even when someone is trying to help/support , you just turn him down , saying '' You don't know how it feels - It's too hard to do it '' refusing even to try ! 

In every single case , after some days/months i changed my mind even if nothing happened during this period and i started to feel better . The reason of it is that i came through accepting what happened , realising the situation i am now , estimating myself and its needs and moving on .

KEY WORD : ACCEPTANCE

In order to continue your life without " torturing memories " you have to make inner peace with yourself and the only way to make it is to accept what happened . As a fact . Not as what you believe it is . A single rain drop is not necesssrily a storm. 



At first we all get too affected by emotions,facts,change of routine,wrong beliefs and all in all we are not able to see the problem in its real size . That's normal , at least the first days . The point here is to realize the importance of estimating right both the situation and yourself quickly , so that you can see what's going on and not having an illusion of the situation you are in . This will save really much wasted time because life goes on only when you let it go . Nothing can keep you back , except you . You'll be sad at first but there is a reason for it . You will come back stronger ;) 




When you face something directly you can clearly view the available options and choose the best one for you. In order to ensure yourself you picked the right choice consider this :

After seeing things dispassionately you must think WHY did all these happen . What was the cause of it? What did you learn from it ? How do you think this will help you ? If in the future you were in the same situation what would you handle differently ? Don't get stuck in wondering '' Why did he/she leave '' . Use the positive side of this fact which is improving yourself through your experience.


After every experience you are never ever the same . Because everyone leaves memories,food for thought,lessons behind when he's gone . It's your job to find them , this is the process of growing up and being more mature .

Also some times when someone leaves ,  it is an opportunity to get stronger since you will have to handle all these he/she used to . A typical example from my personal experience was a hard issue i was suffering from in the past : insecurity of being alone . When i was left alone i had to face my biggest fear ever . Being alone . Not physically . You can never be physically alone , you will always be surrounded by people .

 What happens when you are in the center , surrounded by hundreds but it feels like there's no one there? I felt lonely , mentally alone . Why ? Because i used to handle this insecurity with someone else , that 'someone else' became a necessity since without him i couldn't be calm . He was covering this fear with his presense so i had nothing to worry about . That's how you get in a way ''addicted'' to a situation not on the person who consists it .

When this person was gone i felt like i'm unable to go on because suddenly this comfortable defense against my fear was gone too . And that was the exact moment when i did something i should have done many years ago . FACED MY FEAR . The best way to get over something is to face it directly , the way it is . BE BRAVE .


Once you decide to support yourself , pick up your pieces and realize you deserve something better , not being addicted to something that doesn't make you really happy but just covers your demons , believe in yourself and you will make it . It may be a long process but you will make it . You will stand up stronger , relieved from this dark chain and finally able to breathe free without anything haunting you .

You will also view yourself as a winner warrior and you will know , no matter what , you can make it. Alone . Even if there's no one there . Your life will never be the same . You will now be able to enjoy everything , being yourself without forming sick relations to people and situations .


Emotional addiction is a really hard problem with dozens of negative consequenses for you either if you are the addicted one or the addiction of someone else. Lot of hard work to do but no pain , no gain .

When people leave there is a reason for it. Sometimes we must leave too even if it looks cruel and hard . It's good to care about people around you but it's too bad when you care about anyone else except yourself .
You are the main supporter of yourself , don't ignore its needs .

When someone turns his back on you , when someone dies , when someone just disappears from your life , Its a shock , the feelings are different and the range of their intensity too . There is one common thing in all : YOU CAN MAKE IT . BELIEVE IT AND DARE . 


If you succeed once , you can do it again and again . Find out who you are , what do you want , never let yourself fall in the same trap again . See what you deserve and never ever stay in situations that are not suitable for you and don't make you happy either if you are alone in them or not . You can't have a positive life if you are surrounded by negative thoughts or negative people ! Lay back , take a deep breath and dream how do you want your life to be . 


Imagine the best possible version of you , the happy one and smile ! This will be your inspiration for a better tomorrow through the experience of today's wounds ;)

Healthy , light and refreshing meals [ breakfasts and snacks ]



Hallo everybody :)


Feeling hungry in the middle of the day? Here are some suggestions for light,healthy and super yummy meals that you can eat all day :) 
I personally eat some of them as breakfast , some others as light lunch and some as a snack during the day :D 
Stay tuned because this article will be updated with more suggestions as the time goes by :3 Here you go !









Number one : Small fruit salad and a glass of ice tea of red fruits


You will need : some grapes , one small plum , 1/2 of a small sliced banana and some pieces of watermelon, a teabag Lipton "Infusion Fraise Framboise - Red Fruit"
According to the drink : i didn't boil the water with the teabag . In order to make it just sink the teabag in cool water , add some icecubes and lift the teabag once a while ! Enjoy :3 





Number two : Scrambled eggs , banana , carrots and toasts with homemade marmelade keeping company to a cute glass of milk :3


Scrambled eggs : throw two eggs in the hot pan and add garlic,cary,paprica and pepper. Then add some tomato and feta cheese
Banana : it's a whole small banana sliced with cinnamon on top ( cinnamon is fat burning ;) )





Number three : Toast , fruits , crackers and home made chocolate milk

Definetely not the most low fat suggestion but it's really delicious :p 

Toast : filled with low fat cheese and turkey
Fruits : banana , watermelon,peach
Crackers with feta and oregano flavor : Add a slice of tomato , then a slice of cucumber and some cheese . On the top of them you can pour some oregano ;)
Chocolate milk : Low fat milk with some cocoa powder and voila ! 






Number four : Tuna salad with eggs , cheese , vegies and crackers


Here's some canned tuna with balsamic vinegar sause
Vegies : lettuce with mustard on it , cucumber and tomato with oregano
One boiled egg with lot of pepper 
Crackers and cheese :3

P.S. Green tea matches a lot with this dish 



Number five : Greek yogurt with fruits and green tea 

Greek yogurt with fuits : green apple cubes, sliced banana
toppings : quacker , cinnamon , raisins and honey  
There's a glass of Cold Green Tea too 




Number six : Cream crackers with cheese cream , veggies , orange and homemade lemonade

Cream crackers with tomato,cucumber slices and phildelphia cheese cream
Sliced orange
Home made lemonade : squize some lemons , add double quantity of water , a little sugar and some spearmint leaves !


Number seven : Colourful fruit salad

Cherries , pineapple and kiwi match great :3



Number eight : Red fruit combo !

Cherries and strawberries boom :) You can also add cranberries and blueberries combined with some yogurt :3



Number nine : Delicious light sandwich

Black bread , lettuce , fried eggs , tomato , cucumber and some dill ! Best company for studying all day ;)





Number ten : Sweet green salad ( personal favourite ^_^ )

Number eleven : Taste contrast breakfast with home made low fat chocolate milk


Little toasts with homemade appricot marmelade and boiled turkey slices , sliced orange , bisquits and 
homemade chocolate milk : mix 250mL of warm low fat milk with dark bitter cocoa powder and voila ! I did not add sugar since the dish is already a little heavy of calories ! 



Number twelve : Sweet fruity meal with green tea

Black bread with honey , sliced banana and orange and cold green tea :3

Number thirteen : Sweet breakfast with honey and fruits vol 2. 

Black bread with honey fruits,cheese,raising and milk .

Number fifteen : Fruits , raisins , scrumbled eggs and green tea


More like a winter breakfast/snack dish ! 


Number sixteen : Super cute android looking


A toast with cottage cheese, a boiled egg with pepper on it and some cucumber :) Perfectly served with a cup of hooot green tea :3




Number seventeen : Greek yogurt and friends :3


Greek yogurt with a tea spoon of honey , raisins , cinnamon , almonds and kiwi






Number eighteen : Yummy tower :3


Mehrkornbrot , lettuce , turkey , sliced tomato and prosciutto . Served with a fresh boiled egg.



Number nineteen : Super salad 

Drink ( freshly squized lemon,grapefruit,blood orange ) and Salad with :
*raw vegetables : lettuce , cucumber , tomato , green and red pepper , onion
*scrumbled eggs : cooked without oil/butter or any other fat , with cari,paprica,ginger,garlic and pepper
*Parmesan cheece
*Lemon juice dressing




Number twenty : fresh fruit salad

Watermelon,plooms,peach,grapes and banana boom :3

Drinks : PEACHY SMOOTHIE

Smoothie suggestion for today : PEACHY SMOOTHIE !

If you are fan of peach and oranges you're gonna love this one !

You will need : 

100gr greek yogurt
1 large peach 
1 vanilla fruit (aka plums)
juice of 3-4 squized oranges
Put everything in a blender until it's smooth enough. Enjoy !

Having a positive life : Part two : Further tips for your whole life

Helloooo my friends :)

For those who got started to improve their daily routine and in connection to my previous article about boosting your positive energy through small changes during your day , here's the second part !

The first part targeted what you can do in just one day to make up your mood and initiate yourself into a healthier lifestyle. This part presents various ways to improve your the quality of your life in general, by deeply changing  some of your habits. You will also find some tips which will help you feel better and smile even more !
Are you ready? Grab something to drink and...  Here we go !



  • Stick to a healthier diet : If you are not interested in weight loss itself you don't need a strict formula to work on your diet. However, eating healthier has a lot of benefits for you :) It's not simply a matter of calorie intake , it's mostly about quality. Fruits , vegetables , homemade food and snacks are way better to consume since most of them lack of preservatives (or at least they contain significantly smaller quantity), you are aware of what you eat and thus you avoid a potential risk of any food allergy. Furthermore, all these vitamins and nutrients your food provides, will have a significant impact on your shape and health, offering you more benefits than any commercial supplement alone.




  • Exercise more : Not everyone is keen on the same type of exercisen nor all people have the same goals. Some prefer a typical gym workout, others are keen on exercising through sports ( soccer,basketball,swimming,playing volleyball etc ) and some others love alternative ways of exercise ( dancing,climbing,hiking and such stuff ) . No matter what you choose , increased movement will tone your body, burn the stored fat around your organs which is dangerous for your health, release hormones of happiness, relieve you from stress, improve the blood circulation and much more ! 


  • Meditate : it's very effective , helps you relax and has multiple benefits for you . Found out more about meditation here

  • Set new goals :  Many of us are on the pick of a hard and unstable situation, even discomfort, since economical crisis , terrorist attacks , extreme weather conditions , political problems and such stuff are taking place in different parts of the world . Many people out there feel disappointed or not motivated to follow their dreams . In a way it's normal to feel like this if everything around you has crushed. Wasted societies discourage you all the time but you are the only one who eventually controls your success . Set new goals and organize them in small and steady steps that can realistically be achieved . Being sincere to yourself and setting reasonable targets will make you try harder for each small success you receive till you achieve the final big goal :D !



  • Get rid of bad past experiences : There's a reason for everything . For any bad situation you experience there are "wounds" that can not be undone and will remain for some time. The duration and the aftermath are both in your own hands. You have two choices : either be aware, treat them gently , support yourself and continue your life even stronger carrying with you all the lessons/wisdom you gained from this experience  OR keep on "scratching" your wounds , make them worse and stuck there. Not to mention that the second choice translates in not being able to move on, wasting actually the gift that you are alive .



  • Start doing new things ! Having new hobbies is a great way to fill your free time doing something you like , being creative and meeting new people with same interests as you. Furthermore it is the best way to reverse the effects of all that time you have wasted on negative thoughts/anxiety/stress/disappointment/just sitting on a chair/etc .



  • Start spending time in nature : Even if you have limited free time or you can't afford some days off close to nature , set a specific day of the week /month that you will spend close to a forest/beach/mountain/wherever you feel calm . Setting a specific day will make you excited since you will have something to expect the whole week and release the pressure of your responsibilities . A walk in the park can equally make you relax :) You can also combine it with your dog's walk or playing with your kids ( if you have ) , exercise ( running or stretching in the park ) or even your hobby ( ex. photographing the sunset ) . I recently went for a picnic and it was a great break from my daily routine !



  • Dare something you wouldn't normally do : Ever dreamt of travelling somewhere far away? Ever craved an extreme experience like bungee jumping or flying parachute ? See your favourite artist live despite your limited time ? No matter what is it , DARE IT ! It's better to regret something  you did rather than wondering how would it be if you had gone for it :)



  • Changes ! Make changes on the environment you spend a lot of your day ( house,office etc ) . Some changes will make the place more useful, operating and inspiring :) Dare to paint the walls with happy colours of your desire (if you are allowed to) , bring flowers in the house , make paintings on your own or with your friends and decorate your house , let more sunlight come in , count on some nice bright curtains that will change the whole appearance of your place :) You can also plant flowers and such stuff ( balcony,yard,garden ) , use candles at night , make further decoration changes and fill your place with anything that will affect you in a positive way .



  • Your appearance also needs a change :) Usually small changes in our appearance help a lot , they boost our self confidence and are often connected to a ' Brand new start ' feeling which is super suitable to the new beginning you are already up , if you are reading this blog :D New haircut ? New style ? A new piece of clothing ? Growing a beard (for men! I recently reviewed this article and thought it's so funny to read that without this note!) ? The choice is yours :3



  • DDSLS : Dream - Dare - Smile more - Laugh - Share moments with your loved people ( or pets :3 ) . It's amazing what can any these processes do to your mood and body ! Most significant example is the love hormone release , oxytocine , which makes you feel super excited ! Endorphin (happiness hormone) is also a really good friend of your positive life . It's released when you get happy with something , post workout , during and after sexual activity and much more ! :)



  • Work with your inner self : In order to get an attitude to make you focus on the bright side of life, you should work with your inner self , fears,insecurities,memories and such stuff to get over them , find their cause , be honest to yourself and work hard to get rid of any stain hurting  your soul . Life is so much prettier without selfish , jealous and insecurity issues out there :) It's gonna be hard but you will thank yourself later . I know this from experience , 18 years of suffering ended up in just 2 years of sincere try .I still work with myself but i am now able to enjoy moments that i used to lose because i didn't feel comfortable . You may need some help to do it but don't worry it's gonna be alright :) I am now much more efficient in anything i do because i can focus and be concentrated there instead of keeping my mind busy with such issues . It's the best gift you can do to yourself . 
[ Update: More than 4 years after publishing this article, I am more than ever engaged to the positive way of living and the feeling i get with myself is insanely good, relieving and satisfying! How happy I am that I took charge of it and transformed my life! It is really an investment on your well-being ] 



  • Love yourself : Linked to the paragraph above, accepting , evaluating , improving and finally loving yourself should be your number one priority. When you love yourself you are able to love others as well meanwhile being able to accept their love too :) If you don't love yourself it's really possible to hurt people around you in many ways. Love yourself then , you are awesome :) 



  • Help people around you : Offering help is one of the most powerful ways to spread smiles and happiness out there :) The feeling you get when you see someone smiling because of your help is really priceless and can work excellent as an antidepressant . Help your friends/kids with studies , help elder people when they need it , help your friends by supporting them and give them a hand when they're in need. What you offer will come back to you eventually :)



  • Express yourself : An also important issue here . Compressing your needs , not expressing yourself and ignoring what you truly want will only cause endless sadness . Free yourself and express your feelings, make your stand, let your thoughts see the light out, in any way you prefer : dancing , singing , playing/listening to music , drawing , acting , composing are only a few of the possible choices !



  • Reduce the time you spend on computers and such stuff ( tablets, iPhones etc ) : If your job/studies require excessive computer usage,  try at least to avoid them on your spare time. Virtual light affects the biological synchronism of your organism with the sunlight , causing you sleeping disorders and damaging your eyes as well . I used to spend really many hours on the computer and i suffered from headaches . TIP : When you are in front of computer try to lighten up the whole room so that the screen light won't be so bright and harsh for your eyes.




  • Set a plan for your daily activities ( specific time for sleeping , eating etc ) and also a plan for your whole week including responsibilities like work/bill payments/outdoors stuff/household/homework/projects and also the activities you do with pleasure ( gym, walks, hobbies etc ) . It's really important to organize your time and FOLLOW THIS SCHEDULE. Programming what you have to do, not only helps you handle better your time and be loyal to your needs ( eating,sleeping etc ) but will also save you from deadline anxiety .



Improving yourself equals to making your life easier and happier through correcting the negative features which block you from enjoying life . It's a hard task but it's the most important one of your life ! Being happy means you have inner peace , you are free to be yourself , you are able to manage your life , set priorities and be satisfied with your beliefs, feelings, personality, appearance and choices. Worth it, don't you think ? :) It's never too late to start . You will only be a winner of your personal story . For every time you fall , you stand up stronger and that's the spirit . Don't give up , you'll have a whole kingdom of happiness in the end ;) 

This was my personal point of view on the whole part :) I started from bottom zero and i managed to wake up every morning smiling and feeling good. The opportunities and moments i missed due to the darkness inside me inspired me to be the best possible version of myself . Look back only to see how far you've traveled and be proud of yourself :)

Hope each one of you will explore the satisfaction of  a positive life . Bad moments and bad people will always exist , the point is how you respond ;) !
